A glossary of common terms in my Homolania fantasy [to be expanded]

  1. Androphilia:- Love of men and masculinity.
  2. Androphilic Homosexuality:- One of the two key principles of Homofascism. Androphilic Homosexuality is distinguished from a broader definition of homosexuality that might include non-masculine men.
  3. Hinterlands, The:- The buffer zone separating the interior of Homolania from its enemies. Homolania is at constant war with many adversaries; the hinterlands are where the troops are deployed in an endless battle for ground.
  4. Homofascism:- The governing ideology of Homolania. Authoritarian rule of the population based on homosexuality.
  5. Homolania:- The all-gay nation state somewhere in Europe that came about after some unknown global cataclysm. Homolania is governed by the ideology of Homofascism under the control of the Party and the Patriarch.
  6. Homosexual Patriarchy:- One of the two key principles of Homofascism. Homolania is an all-male nation where women are banished or enslaved.
  7. Ministry of Orthodoxy:- One of the departments of the State. It governs truth, education, media, reconditioning, and thought control.
  8. Ministry of Progress:- One of the departments of the State. It governs technological advancement. The Party is adamant that the gains of Homofascism be immortalized. For this, they need new technologies in the fields of eugenics, mind control, superhumanization, and war.
  9. Parliament:- The governing legislature of Homolania. It is largely a ceremonial institution to give the population some sense of control over their lives. It is formed of the House of Representatives, the lower house, and the Senate, the upper house. Parliamentarians who’ve served twenty years in the House become senators for life.
  10. Parliamentary Games, The:- The method of “electing” parliamentarians. Every five years, the State hosts a series of games to be aired live. They test the physical, mental and sexual prowess of the contenders. They are open to all citizens from age 25-50. The best man from each district is elected and joins the House.
  11. Party, The:- The actual ruling body of Homolania. The Party is a shadowy, amorphous group of ideologues who control the other players with fear, indoctrination and mind control.
  12. Patriarch, The:- The “ruler” of Homolania. He is the eternal father; daddy. He is not real.
  13. Reconditioning:- The process by which heterosexual men are transformed into androphiles. All men are homosexual, so says the Party, they simply need to be conditioned to unveil that truth. Men who do not adapt are turned into slaves for the Party apparatchiks.
  14. State, The:- The all-consuming institution of Homolania. There are almost no aspects of life that aren’t under state-control.
  15. Straggot:- A common term for a heterosexual man.
  16. Stud:- A Homolanian chosen to breed due to his strong genetic character. They do not have sex with women, which is completely illegal. Rather, they are milked and their semen is used to inseminate the strong, beautiful women kept as brood slaves.
